I do care what you think. I try to go through life with my eyes ,heart and mind open. I keep them open to new ideas and new lessons. I try to live with the idea that we are all on this planet in this place for such a limited time. We have to learn to get along with each other the best we can, but mostly we have to be there for each other in times of need. This is a time of need for so many people.
Seriously what would you have us do instead?

I wanted to make clear that my short answer above wasn't a slam on you. It refers to the "bipartisanship" demonstrated by President Obama when he said "I won" and the attitudes of Pelosi and Reid who feel that they have a mandate and all Republican opinion is irrelevant.

I certainly don't have the answers, but my feelings re: the stimulus bill are explained above in reply to Scooter' query.

I absolutely would not have supported this plan if a Republican had authored it and introduced it.

I am very aware that there are people that are hurting and people that need help. I just don't think that making them even more dependent on the government is the answer.

So, now we have a plan. Obama will approve it early this week. We will see how well it works.

Again, if I offended you, I apologize.
