Subject: Please forgive me if I take a break

Politics is starting to get to me. The board is starting to get to me. Scooter, apologies to you if I take things too personally.

Maybe a day, maybe a week. Who knows. I also got laid off last Friday - not looking for sympathy or anything else, but perhaps a little de-stress time is in order.

Don't stay gone too long. I've been in the laid off position not too long ago. So has my husband. It isn't fun! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts & prayers that you find something else soon. I've enjoyed having a bit of extra time to come to the board more often lately and I'll miss reading your posts. While I may not agree with many of them, I always enjoy reading a different viewpoint.

I'm so sorry about your job, Jeannine! Good luck, I hope you find another quickly. I understand the need to take a break, I've done the same on occasion. Don't make it too long, though - your views always give me a much-needed, thought-provoking perspective!
