Subject: Bill Clinton

I am really curious as to how some of my Dem friends feel about Bill's behaviour recently. Is he the Bad Cop? I can't help but wonder if Hillary is saying "keep going" or "shut up".

Strickly as an observer, I think the red-faced finger wagging looks bad. Doesn't it send the message her hubby out there defending "little woman", not the message I expected?

Is he helping or hurting? Opinions?

think it does occasionally look like he's doing too much. But is it more than the spouses of the other candidates are doing? Or does it just seem that way because he's a former president and he's getting all the coverage? Is it more harm than good? And is it fair to say that he's talking for the "little woman" simply because she is a woman or is he actually taking more control in her campaign than he should? I have no answers, but I have at times felt uncomfortable with his larger than life presence in her campaign. I saw footage showing that he fell asleep during a MLK event when MLK's grandson was speaking yesterday. That's not good. Maybe he needs to take a break. Any other thoughts?

Silence speaks volumes!

This is a perfect illustration of my biggest problem with the Clintons. It has now been announced (Monday a.m.) that he will be acting differently now. ACTING. They are so phoney. All we have heard is that we need a President we can trust - well, it ain't her.

Bill went too far comparing Obama's successes to Jesse Jackson's. Obviously, race is THEIR frame of reference.

As always, only my opinion.

Generally speaking, I'm not a huge fan of Bush Sr./BClinton/Bush Jr./HClinton. I think variety and diversity are important parts of the political process.

Tired of both. Tired of division, derision and tunnel vision (hey! I just made that up!)

I am no longer discussing Bush anywhere but with my husband. I either run into Republicans that love him or Democrats that hate him. Let's just let history decide.
With Hillary, we will get more of the same. The sooner she is out of the picture, the better. Then we can get back to our problems, real solutions, the issues and a worthwhile discussion for a change.

bwahahahaa as if he had a clue.

are you gonna try to tell Bill Clinton to shut up when he has something to say? good luck.

but he does understand the campaign process, better than anyone, and he will hush up upon advice of his wife and the campaign managers.
