She is leading a bay mare...~ Author: Yorudan Weebaa [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 14:52:51 03/24/01 Sat ~Leading the mare, she placed her in a empty stall and leaned against the door as Nobara trotted in her stall nervously. She sighed. She focused on the horse. She concentrated. Nobara tossed her head, and then calmed slightly, but when Yorudan went into the stall, Nobara began reaching at the hay net that was placed in her stall. Yorudan smiled. Then patted her.~ "Good girl. That's it, I'll be right back. Gotta go get Thunder and Sommy." ~She smiled and left the stall. Bringing the other horses in, she placed them in the two stalls next to Nobara's. She sighed, wishing she had someone to talk to. Nobara snorted.~ "Well, sure. Subject Author Date Exiting her mares stall, Melody runs her slender fingers through her shoulder length, flaming red hair...her bright blue eyes flashing. Stiffling a bored sigh, she glances about and spots the other girl. Smiling warmly, she strides over and extends a hand towards her. "Hello! My names Melody Thompson!" Melody 16:39:17 03/24/01 Sat ~Smiling, she greets her as well.~ "I'm Yorudan Weebaa. Nice to meet you." ~Shakes Melody's hand.~ "Glad I got someone to talk to besides my horse!" ~Smiles warmly.~ -- Yorudan Weebaa, 07:06:55 03/25/01 Sun Christa walked past, Blood following her. She saw the new girl, and stopped, watching her carefully. "She looks like she's had just as hard a life as I have," Christa mumbled to Blood. The big stallion snorted in agreement. Christa thought about going over, but decided to let her talk to Melody. And I know exactly what you mean. Being new somewhere is pretty tough. I am new here also." She had been through her parents being killed, living on the streets, being picked up by the police... It was too horrible to describe. She went into Nobara's stall and the mare nibbled at her pockets. She sighed and pulled a chunk of apple out of one of her over-all pockets. Smiling, she gave it to the mare.~ -- Yorudan Weebaa, 11:46:12 03/25/01 Sun Nodding eagerly, her blue eyes brighten even more. "I would love to!" Grabbing her tack, she dissapears into Golden's stall and tacks her up quickly. Then leading her outside, she double checks everything before swinging up into the saddle. Gathering the reins, she pats the pretty chestnut's neck affectionatly and turns her head to look to Yorudan and Christa. "Ready!" -- Melody, 14:01:54 03/25/01 Sun ~Smiles and grabbs the tack that was resting near the stall. Tacking up Nobara, the mare shifted excitedly. Smiling the entire time, she rested the saddle on Nobara's back and tightened the girth. Placing the bit in her mouth, she fastened the bridle and led her out of the barn. She easily swung into the saddle, giving a thumbs up to Melody. Then, she waits to see if Christa will be joining them.
