Blood snorted, tucking his head in tight and prancing around. Christa pulled "up" on the reigns, and squeezing him the slightest bit. She clucked, and he began to trot around, head set in the perfect position. She smiled, patting his shoulder to let him know that he was doing well. She had been working with him on things like this for years, and finally he was getting it right. The big stallion began lifting his hooves higher while trotting, and he tucked in his head again. Christa smiled. He had always had a kind of regal way about him. However, that would not do were they in a show, and she corrected that, getting him back in a good position. He snorted, and she asked for a canter. At first, he cantered around well, but then his stallion side began to show through. He began giving little crow hops. Christa rode these easily, perfectly used to his little temper tantrums. She also knew that he would only get worse if she tried to make him stand still while he was doing this, so as soon as all four of his feet were on the ground, she preoccupied him by squeezing him into a slow gallop. After a few moments, she began bringing him to a quick standstill, then asking him to canter from a stop. Soon he began to do well again, and after a few rounds, she stopped him, patting his shoulder and hopping off, untacking him and then allowing him to follow her around as he wished...
