Alisa walks down the aisle of the stable, patting the few horses that nicker in curiousity. Finally, after some time of wandering around she spots two empty stalls at the end of the row. Looking inside of them, it is clear that nobody has used them in quite some time. After a quick inspection she finds them still quite trustworthy to house her two beloved horses. Only a few repairs are needed, mainly to the door and windows.
Finding some straw and sawdust she makes a comfy and thick bed in each of the stalls. Going out to her truck, she returns with two water buckets and two haynets. Filling these up and placing them in the stall, she is satisfied that this will be a good place for her horses.
From her double-horse trailer she leads out her first horse, Black Hawk, a black appaloosa with a white blanket. Even though he stands at 17.2 hh, and is quite big, he is really gentle. Seeing the mares, he neighs and only slightly pulls on the lead rope. Alisa lets him loose in his box stall, but only after making sure the door was securely locked. She didn't want him to play any of his tricks again, since he was famous for opening stall doors.
The next horse she leads in is a beautiful grey arabian gelding. Silver Moon, as he is called, is almost the exact color of the moon, from which he got his name. He was somewhat more excited than Black Hawk, and was pulling on his lead rope, or even refusing to walk. Finally, even though it seemed like ages, Alisa was able to convince Silver Moon to enter his new stall. She made sure both stall doors were locked, and that her horses were lacking nothing before she returned to her dorm.
