Larry, again I am baffled by your post. Who attacked anyone in the Cash family? I must have missed it. One poster, Terry, said that her impression from reading Vivian's book was that Vivian "hated" June. That's the one statement that seemed to set you off, as far as I can tell. I don't know if it was "hatred" or not, but if that's the impression Terry got, why is it an "attack" on Vivian to say so?

I also appreciated Dustin's post. Good for him to weigh in. I like hearing all points of view, from insiders and average fans alike. I have also enjoyed reading your posts over the years.

John Carter, Vivian, Marshall Grant and others have all written books that contain controversial and surprising revelations. Some family members are angry at John Carter about his book; some hate Marshall's book (although Roseanne wrote a favorable blurb for it); Vivian's daughters apparently like her book, but I imagine John Carter and probably Carlene don't.

We can either talk about none of these books to avoid offending one family faction or the other, or we talk about all of them, but respectfully and with the caveat that personal attacks on posters are not allowed--whether we agree with their impressions/opinions or not.

As for family members, if they didn't want discussion of their stories they would not write/endorse/assist with these books.

Finally, is it not clear to you that the one doing the attacking? "Cowards?" "Whiners?" "Haters?" Haven't you read the responses to your posts? Your own friends on the forum are wondering what's up with you.

Do you remember some years ago when you and I started getting scary personal emails from a Forum member who disagreed with something we posted (don't even remember what it was now). This guy was angry and over the top, and you and I corresponded about how bizarre it all was. I don't remember if Bill banned him or if he just went away.

Larry, call me whatever you want, but I still believe you're way too good to be that guy.
