Speaking for myself, I don't think he should have to put-up with people who continuously criticize him (usually over the same issues). Nor should he have to put up with those who attack Johnny Cash's family, extended family, and friends. Literally no one on the forum has the guts to stand-up and defend Johnny's family. They all sit back and read the posts, or they join in the criticism. The attack on Vivian was right there for all of them to read, but they're all afraid to disagree publicly with the person who for some reason has a problem with Vivian (Vivian, who they have no actual knowledge about, have never met, have only talked about). The latest example was regarding her book. Where was everyone when Vivian was being criticized and demonized? Then Dustin is criticized for defending his grandmother/s. Why don't these people just leave Johnny's family and friends alone? Why are they so insistent on trying in trying to drive wedges between members of a family? What the hell is that all about?. There are enough problems between parents and children, aunts, cousings, etc. No family, including Johnny's, need people who are complete outsiders attempting to start or fuel other fires. JOhnny's family and friends are all human being with their own problems in life. Leave them the hell alone. They don't need the added bullshit that these whiners continue to pile on them.... Then the whiners make-up these allegations about Bill Miller. When Bill explains the facts and their complaints are shown to be greatly exaggerrated or to be outright lies, they all of a sudden are thanking him for everything he does on the forum (and they should thank him). These people are really little human beings. Cowards. No backbone. Can't even stand-up for what they know is right. They can't even support their own lies. They are the same ones who attack Johhny's family & friends, and who attack Bill Miller. There are forums just like this that they can start for themselves instead of making accusations and exaggertions on The Cash Forum. If there are folks who can't stand Bill or Dustin, etc, then they should leave. Why stay in such an environment? I hope they stay, because most problems look much smaller when they are given a good dose of commonsense.......Bill Miller owns and pays for The Cash Forum (JOHNNYCASH.COM). Those that let that fact irritate them just have to live with it or move on. He has the right and the reason to shut it down if he likes, and/or make any rules that he deems necessary. CashBash and its information can wait or it can disappear and maybe happen another year. Who knows? Whatever Bill decides, I support it. Really don't care what anyone else think. I think he'll do the "right thing." It might make alot of people mad, OR happy. But whatever he decides he'll do it because he thinks it's the right thing to do...Doing the right thing may not always win you alot of friends, but who cares? You still did the right thing.

Thanks Bob for setting this up. Hopefully Bill will reopen the forum but thats up to him. As regards any posts on Vivian, I never knew her. But having wrote this book she leaves herself open to be judged by it. Thats the nature of any biographical work. Personally I will not be buying it. For that matter I did not buy John Carters either. I did buy Marshall's as he was involved in the music, particularly the early Sun years was an amazing account.
I'll go somewhere and sing that song again.............
