Subject: I would like to inform the public that the Clerks office is not run by Tax Dollars. Click in

It is run totally by its own revenue. Some of our self proclaimed "informed citizens" need to remember this. The office is here for all citizens, Bossier or not. Much revenue comes from customers outside the parish, even outside the state. The office maintains all Bossier Parish records and charges fees that are outlined by the state. The people of Bossier, however, are most important to the office because they are the creators of most of the records maintained here. And just one more clarification for our "informed citizens" - the Clerk and Chief Deputy do NOT wear uniforms...EVER. Thank you.
