(I am also a pitbull/ "vicious dog" protecter. Note the quotation marks... Ummmm.. People think that these types of dogs are bad because they are fighting dogs.... Now tell me.. Peeps like german shepherds, but not pitbulls... GSD's were also used in the dog fighting ring. So why aren't they bad? *growls* I love the pitbull / Rotti / Dobi and all those dogs... 'cause even though they fought and crap.. they can still be your best friend. YES, there is a chance that they may bite you, or maul you... But wouldn't you rather have a lifetime friendship with dog, then letting the dog just die? Wouldn't you want to SAVE the dog? People are so scared of these breeds.. I own a pitbull, his name is Magnet, Mag for short. We bring him into nursing homes, WITH OLD PEOPLE, and he comforts the older people. He shows off his tricks, and stuff, and he has NEVER bit a human as long as I have known him. We got him from the pound when he was one years old, and we've had him for nine years... He's a great dog and he's a pitbull. When people hear the word, PITBULL, everyone assumes that the dog is mean and vicious. Mag has scars on his head, which was an indication that he was fighting.....and he's never bit no one. And.... Theres a reason to his name.... he always sticks around people... He's always behind you, wagging his tail.... That's why his names magnet!)
