++His eyes shift to Karen, the transformation was now complete. He decides not to stay any longer, for he knew his real chase was going to begin soon. He nods to Steel and the others. "Elk Hound, I assure you that if you spare this... err.. human...I will bring you 5 elk, 2 buck, 1 hare, and a slab of steak, all from the best quility cutter and hunter. Enough to feed your family, eh?" He opens his other eye, then grabs Karen by the wing and speeds off towards the valley on his jeweled wings. A certain dark lifts from the alley as he leaves, though it could be that the sun was rising...I mean, it was about 5:00AM, cascade time, in the alley.....++
