1. I think that Robert Johnson's meeting with the devil was faustian because he gave up his old life for something new. He left his awkward teenage self to become one of the greatest bluesman of all time.
2. I think that hoodoo is in Johnson's music because he is associated with a mystical quality.
3. No because if you look at some artists who are successful (Britney Spears) they gave up some part of their life (sanity) to become good at what they do. In Britney's case, it backfired. There are some really good musicians out there that have a bunch of talent. However, there are infinitely more musicians that just suck (Britney, Akon, 50 Cent, Gwen Stefani, Nellie, Fergie). Robert Johnson's meeting with the devil only applies to good musicians.
4. I would wait for a chance to be better than Ritesh David at Halo 3. That's really all I want in life. The last time we played, he beat me 50 to -10. I killed myself ten times trying to kill him. That is what I want most.
