I do not think that this song should be considered racist because of the following; it does not speak badly of african americans at all or have any racial slurs for that mattter, it also is just about a race that happened in history, we still have this race now and it is not considered racist so why would a song about the old races be racist? This song is about an event, a moment in time that meant something to someone. Just because it came out during the time when racism was at its peak, it does not mean that a song is automactially racist.
