This song could be considered racist if you know the the reason it is written in that silly dielect. But this song has, since it was written, became a popular childrens song. If we erase this song from history just because we older people know it is a racist song means we should also erase all the other subject sensitive songs like Oh Sussana, Ring around the Rosie (which deals with the bubonic pleague), London bridge (which sensitive subjects of prostitues (my fair lady) and the iminent burning of the bridge in the early 1900s)
