>> It is great to see passion in all the players and parents in the boys program. I like the want to win attitude. I am also glad that the girls program is running well and staying out of the politics. Aren't the girls fun to watch? I have stayed to watch the boys play in the wins and losses. I hope that people can look at the game and how it was played. Instead of looking through the mommy, daddy, and Thacker goggles, start keeping your own stats. How many times were the boys out hussled, rebounded, and please don't look at the freethrow percentage. If the boys and parents don't start realizing who the coach is this year, it will be a long season. These athletes listen to us (parents) more than we think at times. Coach Thacker is a great person, but not the coach this year. I have not even seen him at a game watching all the kids that he mentored. I know it is hard for him to be in the situation, but maybe a kind word from him to the boys about playing hard for whoever is coaching can be helpful. Please come and support the Freeman Girls and our great coaching staff (Matt Gregg, Ashlee Taylor, Kaila Floyd, and Brian Prior).
