We purchased our timeshare 3 years ago whilst we were actually on one of the free holidays won on a scratch card.

We told them the size of our family, and the ages of the children ( 15, 12 and 10 at the time) we were told that a 1 bed apartment would be fine. Unfortunaltely we didnt go last year, but went the year before with no problems and had a wonderful time.

This year, thanks to a courtesy call from CPO ( or was it? )
We have discovered that we wouldn't be allowed an extra bed in our apartment as our youngest child is over 10 (as she was when we bought it). We need to either upgrade to a 2 bedroom or purchase an extra apartment, a wonderful studio apartment would be perfect. Whilst considering this matter though we realised that we would be faced with two maintenance bills!! As our eldest (at 18) isnt likely to be coming with us much longer, we decided this wasnt a good idea.

We were just wondering is all this just a marketing ploy to get us to buy another apartment?

We really do enjoy our holidays at CPO and would be reluctant to sell our week, but don't like some of the sales methods.
