Having had recent correspondence with PFM about maintenance fees , (I am being charged �804 for two off peak weeks in Ourapraia Hotel )which Petchey acquired in 1999 and immediately doubled the service charges , this is now over double the rate of Portugese inflation since 1997, like other members I have tried to obtain a proper set of accounts but have met with some amazing rebuttals and copied extracts from contrived spreadsheets prepared by amateurs. They appear now to be breaking EC law in terms of the way they sell weeks . They inflate the service charges on existing weeks so that the capital value of the weeks is zero then sell the new punter a week for �5K .The sad part is the people who bought the weeks for their retirement holiday in the sun are the ones who cam least afford the charges and then passively hand back the weeks ... this guy needs to feel the clink of cuffs on his wrists in his late seventies .I am angry and willing to spend a few bob in the name of justice anyone feel the same
