Further to earlier messages on Flights, I would recommend that anyone wishing to travel to CPO via Faro, consider booking their flights independantly of the CPO travel Club

By all means ask the travel club first what deals they do in terms of price , airports near where you live etc.

But, you will prob find better value flights, through the cheap operators these days.

CPO travel club also operate a "taxi" service from airport to resort if booked in advance. You dont have to book the flight with them to use this, although I think they charge more than if you did book the flight - but not substancially more.

Local taxi is also an optino but beware - confirm a price with driver before you get in - make sure he understands what the price you have agreed.

For a really cheap (about 7 euros each way) option, you could do as I did last time I went to CPO,
That time I booked via easyjet (from UK) ,and organised my transfers independantly. I found that the shuttle bus from the airport to the centre of Faro was fine (cant remember cost, but was reasonable)(but it only runs till about 7 in the evening) and from there I got a standard bus - out to the entrance to CPO (and these run even less hours of the day) - So, of course this approach would hardly be best for all,

BUT what I wanted to say is that you have options - you don't have to just use the cp˙
