My wife and I purchased our timeshare some 20 or so years ago and have found it to be "reasonable" given that we only paid 2,500 pounds for two weeks. We used it a lot overseas and had reasonable success with exchanges but now we use it infrequently and the costs of maintenance keep going up. The initial contract was for a limited time (30years). We were contacted last year about converting this to permanent ownership if we paid 30 months at a rate of 50 pounds per month. We have been paying this but after reading some of these concerns I wonder if we are just being scammed. Any advice or experience of others?
