 Sorry it's been a while, but I had almost forgotten all about it! You see I took the advice I was given to ignore the authentic looking threatening letters as they would go away - and they did! Haven't heard a peep for months having had a handful of letters about court proceedings and credit blacklists back in March/April.
If like me you are content to just stop paying the annual maintenance and walk away and put it all down to a bad investment decision then it seems to have worked for me. I just chose to ignore/not respond to letters. I expected phone calls but didn't get any.
