] Date Posted: 00:14:50 02/02/08 Sat Prima facie, prima facie, prima facie! Oh, how I thought so! (Look it up in the dictionary) In a rit of fealous jage I tossed my cookies and ate some bras. Oh....wait....no.... In a fit of jealous rage, I tossed my bras and ate some cookies. Bad girl. BAAAADDDD GIRRRLLL!!! I was in the beginning of a new and beautiful relationship until I found out that what began hot and heavy was just that.... hot and heavy, until he moved on to the next woman. Like yesterday. Growling, I thought to get back at him. I'll show him! I'll wear me some sexy lingerie that trips me into my own self-erotica and then f--k with his mind. Worked before, will work again. Sooooo....off I trot to my lace-thingy drawer and pull out the first bra. Try it on.... Damn...it's too big! *Tossed to the garbage* So, I'll try the next one one. That's way too loose even if I tighten up the straps.... *tossed to the garbage* Over and over, I'm trying on bras only to find they're too big around, too big in the cup size or just way too old. *Toss* *Toss* *Toss* *Toss* *Toss* Until, I went to slide my hand in the drawer and came up...EMPTY. The drawer was empty. OH! A sign from the Universe! GO BRA-LESS!!! Ummm...no.... With a wind chill of minus 32 degrees that day, I did not relish the idea of my nipples falling off in chunks. Nope. Or frostbite settling in. Nope. But I have to wear a bra! Hmmm.... So I check with my teenage daughter... "Honey, do you have a bra that I can borrow?" She looks at me warily and pretty much shocked. I can tell that her mind is whirling with all sorts of questions, but she answers: "Sure mom, just let me get one for you". So she disappears into the dark void of her bedroom and emerges flushed and triumphant. "Here mom, this should fit you!" It is a lacey lavendar bra...beautiful designs in the lace, I am excited to try it on (I love lace). It fits! And I emerge from my room in satisfaction. My daughter takes one look at me and laughs. I say, "Look honey, see how well it fits?" And she replies, "Yanno mom, that's pretty funny". Funny? FUNNY???? Wtf? "Mom," she says, "Take out the dryer sheets from the bottom of the bra". I look down to see dryer sheets had wrapped around the underwire and bunched into the bra. Sighing heavily I pull out the dryer sheets. The beautiful bra....no longer fits. Oh to be young and a 38D once again! Where did it all go? Will I ever see it again? And as I bemoan the fact that the bras no longer fit, I am struck by the synchronicity of my old bras and my past relationships with men. They didn't "fit" - either one of them. So, as I tossed out the old bras, I was tossing away past behaviors and old relationships. Have I bought a new bra? No.... Like the man that I am sure will find me, I am waiting for that perfect bra that will fall into my lap one fine day and whisk me off of my naked breasted feet. So, when I go dancing this Saturday night, I will do a freedom shimmy for all of those relationships yet to come (and the new bras that will come into my life) - and may they be as fitting as the next! ~Hugs while I poke eyes out~ Me [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 04:49:51 02/02/08 Sat ROFLMFAO!!! YOU GO GIRL! This was all too familiar. Only....the bra size went up and the gravity went down! LOL But I hear ya loud and clear on that private feminine wavelength that ripples with all kinds of undercurrents!! Having teenage daughters helps in some manner, but the reality of the female life tends to bring a familiar knowing smile... YEP! The old relationships that don't "fit" are quite similar in some strange kind of way! LOL I do understand you dear, oh I do! All too well as a matter of fact, more than I care to recall, but with a chuckle and sympathy added in for good measure here. Good luck Christine...know that the feminine energy of the North supports your newest journey in womanhood! Hugs and love, Tammy |

You are such a talented writer; tying in the bras with relationships and the dark void of your daughter's bedroom. LMAO! I can read you anytime and be sure I will be shaking my head. It really is good to have you back! As for the twins, sure, let them bounce baby. Even twins love freedom. zooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmm |

Date Posted: 22:01:57 02/03/08 Sun Hey Hambone, Twins are loving freedom, but it just snowed here (AGAIN) today...gotta hide them from the cold....they need a new home. Know of any good ones around here? *GRINS* Thanks for the mighty fine words and sentiment (or is that sediment?) Ya know...from the 80-yr old standpoint. Hehehehe.... ~Hugs~ |
