] Date Posted: 20:01:24 10/08/07 Mon Arrival. The key turned, Clicking loud to the night air, Her tender hand quivering, As the door swung to it’s own tune, The corridor stretched, Deep into the velvet darkness, To where the staircase rose stark from the dank, urine stained passage, To the landing and room five, The click of stiletto on parquet floor, Echoed to the sway of her hips, Whilst the lamp holder hung, devoid of bulb, Her heart pounding, She hurried through the gloom, Climbing the stairs to the swish, Of her nylon clad thighs, One more key, Fumbling in the dark, Panting with fear, Unable to find the lock, When the thick hand came, To smother all screams, Lifting her heels from the carpet, The snap was swift, She crumpled, He faded along the corridor, The door swinging to it’s own tune, That enveloped him and his evil deed, © Paul Osborne 2007. Date Posted: 07:04:16 10/09/07 Tue Sash, This image, and the following events, are a collage of dark, that has a basis in childhood dreams,I used to have one where I could not get my key in the lock, and a terrible figure was running towards me,...The girl? She just formed my suspense! Also smiling you know me that well....Now where did I put my balaclava and black gloves?........Kidding! Peace and hugs, Paul |
