She, Who Sings

She, who sings,
dances as flame
in twilight breezes
for her evergreen,
the keeper of her heart

rain-graven
to the breath of time
autumn brushes
evening-star skin
whispering of forever
and she doth awaken

poetry comes
in the still of night
a gift to all
who choose to fly
and pours love�s lyrics
to hungry eyes
as silver bleeds
upon the sky

Intrinsic
lilting filigree
bringer of light
nocturnal nymph
of wistful wish
and fingertip touch
known to the night as
She who sings
to the moon.
