Barefoot Calligraphy

She is enigma
unleashed
and spirit free,
yet, there she sways,
slave to the rhythm

shadow dancing like a feather
on sirocco waves,
in storm flesh tones
that bleed & pulse
her woman primal

undulant rapture
carving midnight skin
in fluidic tones
of tribal incarnadine,
and dancing fire

She calls down the moon
as the wolf howls to the singing drum,
and she tastes the rain
with eyes closed,
and velvet dress twirling

barefoot calligraphy
a sylvan swan song
of flame graven crescendo,
no longer the slave,
for she is Goddess
