Miss Mountain States Beauty Pageant
Sunday, November 6th, 2011�3:00 PM
Location: Gate City High School

Beauty~$25.00- Required (Natural Beauty, Attire, Poise & confidence)
Sides~$25.00-Optional(Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Smile, Best Dressed)
Most Beautiful-Optional (Facial Beauty Only) $10.00

*All Participants will compete in beauty dress. (Natural or Glitz)
* Restrictions-No flippers allowed. 3 and under can wear small hairpieces only. Lip gloss only. No spray tans. We base 50% on natural beauty so please enhance it, do not take away from it! 4 & up can compete in full glitz minus flippers.

*We have teamed up with The Toy Cart and will be donating �toys to underprivileged children�. Every contestant is required to bring an unwrapped, new, age appropriate toy for their division for this donation. (If you are 2, bring a toy for a 2 year old, if you are 9-item for 9 year old). Please turn these in at registration, or you can deliver to the director. You do not have to mail these in to me in advance. Our Queens for Teen and Miss Divisions are invited to come with the directors to deliver all the toys to the children and have your photo taken with us to be put in the Gate City Newspaper. �True beauty comes from the inside & you deserve to be recognized for your generosity!
* I will buy a card and place at the registration desk. All contestants/families are asked to sign the card/cards that will be given to the children.

*All queens are invited to stay till the end of the pageant and have your photo taken to be put in the local paper. All queens are invited to represent your title in Duffield daze, Nicklesville days, Mountain Heritage Festival, Appalachian Music Festival, and your local town parades. We will call you and invite you to attend these events. Our Miss/Teen winner is �expected� to make these appearances.

*As with all our pageants, contestants will be judged 50% on Natural Beauty. Contestants 3 and under will also be judged on personality and overall appearance. 4 and up will also be judged on modeling/poise/confidence (as one) and beauty dress.

* This is a prestige pageant so we have ordered custom awards! Queens will receive a large tiara/crown, trophy, fees off my next pageant and custom embroidered sash. Runner ups will receive a large trophy and fees off my next pageant. Most beautiful will receive a sash and trophy. All divisional side awards will receive a nice director�s gift.

*****Experienced out of state judges!
