Subject: Interesting question from an alumni

A gentleman called yesterday asking about the alumni association and wanting to know when he could visit the museum which he recently heard about. He was a student at school 21 in the 40's.

He posed an interesting question. He had heard that at one time school 21 also taught high school classes. He said the gentleman who told him that, now passed, would be at least 100.

I have yet to find anything in the research that has been done that would indicate that....but then, we've only seen the tip of the iceburg...as the saying goes.

I wonder if this might have been back in the one room school house days when it was a district school rather than a public school.

Has any one else heard any stories that might indicated that a higher level of learning was offered at our school at any point in time.
