I realize this is more high school oriented, but then, without the knowledge we gained at School 21, would we have been prepared for high school?

A letter you reread today
Written by an old friend
A phone call you received
Asking how you’ve been

The prom corsage you found
Pressed between some pages
A card from a special Valentine
Not thought about for ages

A song heard on the radio
That takes you back in time
The Letterman’s Jacket won
When you were in your prime

Perusing an old yearbook
Recalling yesterday’s faces
Seeds once from the same pod
Scattered now in many places

Formless memories stirring
Into the present they’re thrust
Coming once again to life
Shaking off yesterdays dust
