When is your American Dream pageant? My husband and I have new been to New Orleans and may just take a side trip down.
Through my little pageant journey, I have only met a HANDFUL of really nice people. You happen to be one of them. Your contestants should be proud to have a wonderful director as you truly caring for them and guiding them. You surround yourself with positive and not negative and that is the key to it all.

My city is quite proud that I am representing our state at nationals. I too live in a failing city and I think that is one of the reasons god put me here. So much work to do, ahhh but the satisfaction of seeing change overides everything. I know that you feel the same way living down south after Katrina.

I hope that you stress the importance of being a representative with a crown to your queens. THEY CAN MAKE A CHANGE!!! Who needs the prizes and $$$ when you have a crown and could make a difference!

Anyway, I am sure you could hear my excitement. I just started my pageant blog, I am computer illiterate so don't laugh at it!
By the way, where did you see my picture?????? I only did a quick one for the newspaper and my blog, and it did not come out good! I am doing a redo in the spring
