Thank you for all the positive response and interest in the new American Image National Pageant! I'm glad so many of you like what we're doing to create a system that provides the things you’re looking for at an affordable price, particularly in today's challenging economic times. I believe it's more important than ever to promote the achievements of American women of all ages! We are strong leaders in our communities, businesses, schools, churches, and more and a powerful source of inspiration to so many others. The American Image National Pageant team is committed to providing a first-class pageant experience for all of our delegates. We're here to help you reach for your goals and meet wonderful people who'll inspire you as well.

We've had several exciting developments in the last two weeks that I want to share. First, I'm pleased to announce that we have added a new consultant to the American Image National Pageant Team. Mrs. Sherry Strother will be our Guest Director for the 2009 American Image National Pageant. Sherry is a nationally known contestant, director, mistress of ceremonies, and judge in the US pageant industry. As a self-taught contestant and winner of state and national titles including Mrs. United Nation U.S. 1998 and Mrs. American Renaissance 2003, she has extensive insight into what it takes to come out on top in pageant competition. Sherry has over twenty-five years’ experience in the world of beauty and is the author of "Crowning Success, The Ultimate Guide for Mrs. Competition." Sherry is a well-admired and sought-after consultant and will ensure that the American Image National Pageant competition is second to none.

We are also recruiting make-up artists, hair-stylists and coaches to work with our delegates. Reggie Lewis, our choreographer and member of the American Image National Pageant Team, will be offering an exclusive Pageant coaching workshop during pageant weekend. We'll be offering hair and make-up workshops, and individual artists and stylists will be available for private sessions.

The American Image National Team will be on the road for the next several months meeting delegates, recruiting contestants and promoting the positive influence and community service associated with American pageantry. I have just returned from a Pageant promotion cruise and shopping excursion in the Bahamas where I found some fabulous new delegates and additional prizes. Ginny Meerman, our 2008 Ambassadorial Queen, was a judge at the Florida International Pageant last weekend and returned with great compliments about their delegates, pageant production and warm reception of the American Image Pageant system. We’ll be on the road again in October for the All American Pageant in Myrtle Beach, SC October 2nd - 4th, and then in Charleston, SC for an official pageant visit to our host city and public unveiling of our 2009 pageant.

If you are interested in competing in our inaugural 2009 pageant, you can download the pageant application from our website at www.americanimagenationalpageants.com. All applications submitted before the October national announcement will receive first priority. Thanks! Deb Dyer
