Subject: First Day of Increased Fares - Lead Poisoning

OK. Let me start:
The 8:44 Bx10 at W232nd street was about 11 minutes LATE!
The A train was FILTHY! AND at 207th street it still had the INWOOD destination sign on!
Did I mention that every one of the FOUR cars I tried had homeless people in them? Not clean ones either.
The D train stunk like crap.
I couldn't get a bus transfer at 231st street when I got back because it took THREE HOURS to get from Queens to The Bronx!

LEAD POISONING? YOU BET!
96th STREET ON THE NUMBER 1 TRAIN - They're doing construction and the dust was so bad you couldn't breath! Then I see some idiot spraying a hose on the platform and when the trains came into the station the spray went down the line onto the people standing there!

Then I see a red tape that says that they're removing LEAD from someplace behind some white plastic sheets! So where's the LEAD going? In the dust, into the air and INTO OUR LUNGS!

And this is on the FIRST DAY OF INCREASED FARES!

OK people. Now I have to ask: WHO ARE THE DUMB F's here?
