Nesses dias era s�laba a s�laba que chegavas.
Quem conhe�a o sul e a sua transpar�ncia
tamb�m sabe que no ver�o pelas veredas
da cal a crispa��o da sombra caminha devagar.
De tanta palavra que disseste algumas
se perdiam, outras duram ainda, s�o lume
breve arado ceia de pobre roupa remendada.
Habitavas a terra, o comum da terra, e a paix�o
era morada e instrumento de alegria.
Esse eras tu: inclina��o da �gua. Na margem
vento areias mastros l�bios, tudo ardia.
