Oops, I forgot to mention, in NSNG/Bradwood's defense, that Si Garrett is over in Wahkiakum County Commission meetings pledging to pay 100 percent of costs associated with the security operations, he said. It would provide money to equip county fire departments and emergency responders, and it would fund new patrol cars and armed marine patrol boats. It would cover the employment costs of the officers, who would be part of the Wahkiakum County Sheriff's Department.
Overall, at least eight to ten security jobs(End Jobs) would be created, and those jobs and continued community program/emergency responder funding through the Wahkiakum Community Foundation could generate over $1 million annually for the county's economy.
He estimated the security officers(Wahkiakum County Sheriff Deparment?)would spend 25 percent or less of their time on LNG patrol; the rest of the time they would be able to work on citizens' needs(Wahkiakum County Public Safety?).Hmmmmm! Lwt's see now...A Washington County and 10 of its public safety force spending 25% of their shift doing work for a private corporation based in an Oregon County under the jurisdiction Of Clatsop County Sheriff's Department? and I wonder how USCG will react to this Private Security force plying our watwerways?
