when some thing is trying to come out
of my mind I just listen to music
and follow where it leads me into
time-spent threads and rich umbra-kissed
thrums of melodic wonder

I sleep to it too

in a disinfectant world I have found
the taste of acid dotted to form a quick round
of mellow across the heavens

rakes of scarlet and indigo form a union
that pulls my heart to the earthen slumber
where I gain dreams of an oracle spent
on the spinnaker of hope�..floundering

I wanted to see the sun
��instead I see the moon

but at least when I howl on that ledge
my voice can carry to where you are

even if my poetry has no weight
