Of course Langford is for real. He's been mayor and he thinks he can win again. I'm sure all his friends are telling him they'll vote for him. He's got an outside chance.

So your criteria for a "good job" is no scandals? Pretty low bar, if you ask me. But since Evans has hired multiple Callaway family and friends, it's very clear that he's still OWNED AND OPERATED by Callaway, so for that reason alone he should be tossed out on his ear. I'll even vote for Langford (who I think did a terrible job as mayor--and one free of scandal, BTW, if that's your criteria) over Evans.

But Evans is working with Callaway family members and supporters. And rehired them back. So what does that make him? Langfford, noticed his mistake and fired him. But that is different because Langford is different, right?
Basicly, you want any and all Callaway supporters and friends not to be nowhere near there.
His firemen friends are not to happy with Evans right now for siding with them. Then perhaps Evans could be wearing a wire to trap them. Evans is in trouble for his taxes on his property. Or did you forget about that?

I think many people forget that there were thousands ofother Atlantic City Residents that supported what was "The Callaway Organization". Needless to say, they are all disappointed (and many are mad) about what happened to so many of the people they supported. However, the peoplethat supported the Callaway team are still a majority in AC, and they don't want Langford or Callaway back in power. What made it so easy for Bob Levy to win was the fact that Langford was so bad. Evans has only been in office a couple of months, and I (and many others) like him better than Langford, Callaway or even Whelan. I think most AC residents are willing to give him another year.

He's still owned and operated by Callaway! He's appointed at least 4 Callaway family members to his administration! Doesn't that prove something! A man who took bribes from the minute he was in office, is still controlling the city. If Evans REALLY was free of any Callaway influence, wouldn't he NOT appoint Callaway family members to jobs! It's common sense. He's allowing Callaway to run the city from behind bars. Remember when Callaway was president of council? Everyone thought he was also doing a good job until we found out about the bribes. What is happening or what is going to happen with Evans? We don't know. All we know is he's STILL linked at the hip with Callaway. He's got to go. I agree that Langford isn't the answer but rest assured someone else from council will run. Ward or Tibbitts would be better than anyone so far.

Ok Lets get rid of all the Callaways and while we are at it lets clean house and get rid of Mike Matthew’s friends and family then we’ll go after Jim Usry’s family and friends then will get Jackson and Somers people. We can go all the way back to Tommy Taggart and Joe Altman, and don’t forget Lanford & Speedy’s group, you know they can’t be trusted.
Whelan never addressed the taxes so the homeowners wouldn’t be hit hard now. So he ought to be run out of town. Lets see that leaves about five people in City Hall and about 11 people who just moved into town. Let someone in town pickup the first stone.
