Yes, the radio used to be interesting and fun, but then got overtaken by wierd, sick callers who call every show and think it exists for them to inform vast audiences about every detail of their lives, or that they are expected to "preform" for the "vast" imaginary audience, which they, themselves, reduced to next to nothing out of the boredom of it all. Then there's the hosts, with Williams doing NOTHING but playing tapes of past news reports (compiled in the middle of the night by the poor producer, Mauiro), endless advertisements to wring every dime possible out of the air time at the expense of less and less listeners, and his unbelievable rudeness to callers, like a 90 year old senile coot who would smack his own grandaughter, Williams is the most rude, thoughtless, and the most stupid jerk on the planet, yet is what WOND offers in drivetime morning. Then there's Hurley.........with his unbelievable past smeared all over him, his endless self promotion and that of his corrupt "patrons" who are nothing more than his extorted victims, paying him off to keep him from trying to ruin them through lies and accusations, and the fact that he probably has less than 20 listeners at any time, yet pretending that his little "enterprise" has any relevance at all, steadly reduces his numbers with the disgusted listeners going over to 101.5 from both hosts bad form. It's a wonder that anybody still listens, although it's a strange, undisputable fact that Williams is still pulling in around 8000 listeners any given morning. The callers have dissuaded others from calling, too, since they like to insult other callers and seem such idiots, that nobody wants to participate. Most people have real lives, too, which these morons don't seem to, and don't have time for anything more than listening. The near future might see a big decline of the AM radio talk show.
