Date Posted: 13:25:31 02/01/08 Fri Paul, You are not alone in your assessment of the situation. At first I didn't feel bad for her. She used the press for her own liking for quite some time. That said, once any decent human being realizes the woman is seriously in trouble I don't understand how they can do what they do. It's such a sad reflection on society in general. What's worse is knowing that the general public is glued to their TV's waiting for the news of her next crisis situation. It's as if the whole damn world had gone insane. I could actually feel the venting of your emotions here. It reveals much about the man you are. There are those stars who are strong enough ride the waves of their success, but some like Ms. Spears, start to fall early in their careers and because their sense of self was never developed or affirmed, they get pulled by the undertow. At this point in time, she is truly hanging on by threads, like a woman being stoned in the public square. The vultures watch with uncovered eyes and it makes their day to see her humiliation. It's no more a human World, imo, and crazy is the one who dream to be part of. Unfortunately, the now lady, is not the only ex-baby star who failed on the road.
