] Date Posted: 15:37:06 01/24/08 Thu His Choice...a villanelle He didn't have to die on Calvary. He took our sin and bore it as His shame. It was His choice to set the sinners free. He whispers in our hearts "Please come to Me." If we refuse, there's only us to blame. He didn't have to die on Calvary. A living sacrifice, He came to be, so we would never have to face the flame. It was His choice to set the sinners free. I know that there are those who disagree, but Jesus sacrificed for them the same. He didn't have to die on Calvary. Mankind was given choice, not a decree. A gift of Love that's there for us to claim. It was His choice to set the sinners free. The price He paid in blood was paid for me. The payment's there for all who call His name.
