The St. Helena Civic League is in no way responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur during or after the pageant or for any articles lost or stolen. The decision of the judges is final. Contestant must compete in the age division they are on the day of the pageant, however, you may move up an age group (with the exception of Teen moving up to Miss due to LAFF Rules) if you feel you look mature for your age division. There is no moving down an age division.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION / PLEASE READ
Deadline to enter is August 16, 2008
Can pay day of pageant with a $10.00 late fee
Session will not begin before scheduled time
Bad sportsmanship will NOT be tolerated
Be on Time! We will start on time!
Judging will be based on personality/model (1-10), beauty (1-15), and overall appearance (1-10)
Dressing rooms will be available, but I would suggest to try to come with most of yourself done as it does get crowded and hot!
Teen may move up to Miss if she will be 17 by January 1, 2009
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. (w/exception of Miss)
0-11 and 12-23 months, NO MAKEUP, may have hair done

There will be 9 division Queens, where each will receive a trophy, crown, monogrammed banner, and prizes. Baby – Petite Miss will receive a 3 1/8” crown, Little and Jr. Miss 4” crown, Teen Miss 4.25” crown, Ms. 7.25” crown, Miss 9” crown! All division Queen trophies will be 32” and VERY NICE!!
We will also have 2 Supreme Queens 0-6 and 7-up
Each will receive an 11.5” crown, 60” trophy, monogrammed banner, and a bag full of prizes!!

MISS CONTESTANTS ONLY
Must be at least 17 years of age and no older than 23 years of age by January 1, 2009
Must be single, never have been married, and never have had or currently have child
Interview will be 4 minutes and will be panel style with 3 judges
Attire for interview is interview suit
Registration is at 8:30 a.m. with interviews beginning at 9:00 a.m.
We will meet before the pageant to discuss the Queen’s contract, therefore, I will need every Miss contestant to please email me your phone number and I will get in touch with you about the place and time.
