If you are not from North La you do not have a chance to win or place: I am from North La but the girls from south La was so put together this year and stunning, a couple of them got in the top 15 but just can't place; The younger you are the better chance you have to win. The winner is beautiful, but I thought there was girls that looked and spoke so well, I spoke with our Director and told them that they need to make it optional to compete or not, If we was to win another title we will not be competing, why go and spend so much money getting ready for LAFF when you know that you don't have a chance in hell of placing or winning. So if you are not going back to LAFF if your Fair or Festival already a member everyone knows who you are so they willbe invited to others you don't have to be a member just ot get invites.

Agree, Talked to our festival board today and they have decided not to rejoin laff, to many politics, this is sad because we have been with them about 10 years, and can we talk about the food, it was horried, and how much did we have to pay for that, I would like to see exactly where they spend all the money, really! I heard that one of the judges ask what type of hertiage you had and what was your opinion on Mexican and wanted to know if we shoud send mexican back to there on country, and what about the abortion question, if you went out and someone slip you something in your drink, and quote "knock you up" what you have an abortion or would you keep the child No name 20:16:23 02/08/09 Sun

I hope LAFF is better this year; I believe that questions that were ask was rude and unprofessional. They ask one of the queens if we should send the mexican back. how rude was that, look at the young ladies that competed, there were several that should have made top 15, but due to there nationality they did not stand a chance. what is this organization going too.
