The above post titled "The Most Painful Whipping I Ever Received" was my earliest post on this forum. It was a totally factual account, not a fiction story. So I made no attempt to "glamorize" it, but just presented it as the largely unpleasant experience that it was. Also, because it took place in a group setting, there was no sex involved.
In that post, I originally referred to the bondage device I was secured in during my punishment as a "spanking bench", but I have since seen it referred to on the Internet as a "spanking block". I found it difficult to describe that bondage device in words when I wrote the post. However, I have since found a photo of it on the Spanking Central website, which you can see by clicking on the link below.
Because of the angle of the photo, one thing you can't see well is that the prisoner's ankles are locked into wooden stocks.
Having spent time "secured" in that device, I feel qualified to recommend that two "improvements" be made to it:
(1) The two leather straps across the prisoner's back and legs and the wooden stocks that lock his ankles into place pretty much guarantee that he is not going to accidentally fall out of the device, nor, more importantly, intentionally escape from it, when vigorous punishment is being applied. However, I did not find the third strap, placed across the victim's upper arms, to be particularly effective as it left my forearms free to move around. I would have much preferred the extra feeling of "security" that leather wrist restraints provide.
(2) The other deficiency is easily correctable: a soft leather pad for the victim's knees to rest on. I was probably in that device for at least half an hour. Since much of that time, my ass was being subjected to severe punishment, I didn't notice the less severe pain that my knees were being unintentionally exposed to. But after my punishment was over with and I had been released from my bonds, I became acutely aware of the pain caused by my knees pressing against solid wood. And the impact to my knees could have potentially proven more injurious than the temporary "inflammation" of my buttocks.
