"BACK TO WHAT WE KNOW BEST - WINNING"

Both squad's record exellent wins.

Let me get straight into it.

RESERVES;
The boys continued there good form at home against Caufield, but they didn't have it all there way, early in the first half the defence failed to clear the ball from there goal line and gifted the visitors the opening goal. 1-0 down.
But as we have found out this season, the lads will fight till the end, and there was plenty of time to do it.
Not long after conceeding an early goal the boys moved into gear and were ready to pounce. And did so with some clever work in midfield between Chris C and Micah D who found the two forwards Dave S and Cam R who exchanged passes to release the running Robert S on to goal and get Ringwood's first. 1-1.
The visitors knew that they were in trouble when 10 minutes later one of those dangerous left foot corners from Chris C found Cam R at the near post to thread the ball into the back of the net. 2-1.
In the second half the lads continued to dominate all over the park, When Chris C picked up the loss ball in midfield and with a clever pass, sent the Speedy Daniel M on his way to chip the keeper from a tight angle and give Ringwood's 3rd. 3-1
There was still time for one more goal and arguably the best for the day, when the boys kept posession for at least 5 minute with clever passing all over the park and waited with patience do deliever to final blow when Robert S recieved the ball down the left and sent in the final pass across the face of goal to find his brother Dave S sliding in and making the final score 4-1 Majic Football.

SENIORS;
The boys could not afford another slip up at home to a team that has given Ringwood a hard time in the pass. From the start the boys came out fighting and created the better
chances but failed to deliever the final blow. First half finished 0-0.
The second half the lads continued to attack and tried to get that all important first goal, but same how the visitors had other ideas when they managed to get the opening goal. 1-0 down.
This was the wake up call Ringwood needed and continued to attack with Tox and Daniel P working overtime on the flanks and Tully P and Rodrigo A up forward having plenty of opportunities. When finally Ringwood was awarded a penalty 10 minutes later. Up stepped the captain Luke V Gulik and made no mistake sending the keeper the wrong way and Ringwood's equalizer. 1-1
Ringwood continued to press as Caufield's defence started to tire, and no long after Ringwood took the lead, when Tox took on his man on the wing and sent in a cross to find Tully at the back post to smack home the second goal. 2-1. up
Caufield had no answers as the lads continued to cause more pain when Rodrigo found himself one on one with the keeper, he kept his cool and placed it nicely past the helpless keeper to give Ringwood a well deserved 3-1 win.
With Parkmore who were sitting on top 4 points clear failed to capitailize and went down 4-1 to the bottom side Manniningham. Exiting race to the finish line, both teams (seniors & reserves)keep up the good work. History shows that this is were CHAMPIONSHIPS are won or lost. Focus and believe and it will happen if you really want it.
