Sorry i'm abit late with match report so i'll get straight into it.

RESERVES;
The lads had everything to play for last weekend - They were sitting on top of the table 2 points clear from Parkmore and a chance to rap up an exellent season a week early. But Parkmore had other ideas and took an early lead when they managed to catch Ian napping and see the ball sail over his head and into an empty net. However as we've seen plenty of times this season from these lads, that fighting spirit came out again and were rewarded 5 minutes later when some exellent work in midfield from Chris C & Rowan M saw them exchange passes and the final touch sending Dave S on his way towards goal and slot the ball pass the keeper to level the score at half time 1-1.
The boys new that they were only 45 minutes away to been crowned PREMIERS in 2009, and played there best soccer of there season. The lads were all over the opposition and were creating plenty of chance. And with 15 minutes remaining the break through they had worked hard for came, when once again the experienced midfield took apart Parkmore and sent the hard and speedy Troy M on his way towards goal leave his defenders chasing his shadow, and cool calm and collective went around the diving keeper and walked the ball into a empty net and sent the crowd into a frenzy. And with 5 minutes on the clock the icing on the cake came when Chris C spotted Jacek S at the back post from a corner were he hit a low powerful shot into the bottom far corner to make it 3-1, and it was time to celebrate. And celebrate they did when the final whistle sounded. WELL DONE LADS AND WELL DESERVED. as Chris's top said 2009 CHAMPIONS. (i like that)

SENIORS'
It was the same scenario for the first team to wrap up the season a week early. But once again it was dai-sa-vu and Parkmore took the lead early when our boys were not able to put there chances away up the other end. It seemed that nerves got the better of Ringwood and were not able to play the free flowing attractive soccer we have seen this season. Things got worse when top goal scorer Tally sustained a nasty injury to his ankle and was carried of the park.

Second half things didn't get any better with plenty of chances to level the score, But somehow parkmore managed to take on the defence in a tight area and get past them to see there striker have the easiest of tap in's of the season. Ringwood never recovered from that and the game became scrappy with the referee having to work over time to control the game when there were alot of behind play incident's. Game ended 2-0 down but the good news is that Ringwood were still 1 point clear on top with 1 game remaining. Great opportunaty to re-group and focus on the biggest game of the season. LETS GO RINGWOOD
