You made me look. I have one of the red bolstered silver monorails in excellent condition. It does have the gray wheel covers. Something else different that I have only seen in a silver trains is that the center cars frame is NOT painted (normally they are painted black). I have one other silver car (that was not part of a full train) that has an unpainted middle car frame. I also have a silver middle car with framed painted black.

BTW, I also have blue train that appears to have the gray hub caps.
