His feathered body is stiff from both exaustion and the increasing claustraphobia of the cave. The rising feeling of dread and worry from the Mage Storm stole any sleep that would of befalled upon him. His golden orbs scan the space around him for anyone who was not resting. A familiar gryphon catches him eye, Serenity. His ebony wings are tucked to his side, as he hops over the sleeping mysticals, careful to not make any sound that may wake them from a deep slumber.

"My dear, Serenity." He whispers, as he walks up next to her. His focus shifts to the golden rods, which struck the ground outside the shield, blending in and out of the pea-green mist. The ever blue sky he loved to soar in was no where in view, and his expressions saddened. He raises a paw up, feeling the dampness of the air.

His mind searches for something more to say, something that would keep both of their minds off of the terrors outside. "Can you not sleep as well?" An invisible hand slaps his forehead. He wonders how saying that would make either of thier worries fade away. Could he now think of something to save himself, and make her smile? His mind frantically searches for one, but none came.

Be honest, he tells himself. "I can not wait until the sun shows it's merciful rays and cool breezes once again." Another imaginary slap comes to him. Maybe I should stop with the honesty idea and keep my mouth shut. The only thing worst then stating something idiotic is following with another feeble statement. He sighs quietly and surveys the storm once more.
