Subject: Chapter Minits - March Author: Bob (Grumpy) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:32:10 03/23/08 Sun Hi Everyone, Here’s the update from our Chapter meeting last Wednesday. The meeting was attended by David B., and surprise- Keith S. all the way from Cleveland(!) (Keith was in Cinci on a business trip), and your's truly and my better half.. . Well, we had a lot of good chatter about family, bikes in general and our own bikes; about Cleveland a little bit, and ride we’d like to take, and the ride/meeting schedule. In part from Keith's input we will be trying to schedule some rides on Saturday to accommodate those who can't get Sunday time. Finding free time seems to be a continuing challenge. Everyone had a very good .time, and again it was like a family get-together family.On our way home my Mrs. & I continued a talk about scheduling rides & meetings and what other Chapters do about them. Well, we’re certainly not the ‘swiftest’ couple on the planet so it’s taken us awhile to realize this: During the riding season most chapters seem to have their meetings following their rides. . So, Robin and I are wondering – Would this be the best way to go for our group too? At least during the riding season? Or something in between (say meet every other month at a restaurant?). Let us know, and we’ll post and probably email the result back to y’all (oh,. Keith –“y’all” that means “everyone” in Cleveland, haha). .
