Your insights are greatly appreciated and all make a lot of sense. I still don't understand why she lied about stealing the set. I am considering the matter closed. I think the one person may have been right saying she has guilt feelings about something she did or thought and is even more ashamed to tell me.
I may have been wrong about the second spanking, but I gave her that spanking because she had lied and continued to lie.
