I got an excited text (hopefully not while driving) from Karla's room mate again thanking me for bailing her (them) out. Karla is a bit of a slob. A very sweet girl, clean in most respects, tasteful but not much on order and cleanliness. She said that Karla had cleaned their apartment spotless, cooked a special dinner for her etc. She thanked me for having that talk with her and helping them out. She said something like "Whatever you said flipped a switch in her." something along those lines. I wonder if she knows. I suspect she does.
This poor girl works two part time jobs, goes to school and has special projects associated with school. She is so sweet and very sweet with my girls. I'm very happy to help. I would love to get my hands on some of those bratty, disrespectful, indulgent, selfish girls, either some of my daughters' classmates or these college girls around here who I'm sure have never had discipline in their lives or at least not the right kind and see that they can't sit for a few days.
