No it was the youngest and she is usually quite good about her dealings with older folks and really with anybody, but not that day. Was her funky mood explicable? Yea probably in that she was having a lot going on in her life at that time and so maybe she just said what came into her mind anyway it certainly suprised her grandparents and my hubby as well. After they were left I announced her spanking and we took the walk down the hall to where the hairbrush is kept. My husband came along to show his support for her spanking. He also had a few words to add during the lecture.

Even if you have problems with people of another generation there is no need to be rude or crude about it and we always encourage the kids to talk out their feelings with us before it becomes a major issue.
