Lots of wisdom to what you mention. United and consistent approach by both parents. Lots of parent-child activities including alone time with each kid. A safe and not hysterical spanking procedure. In my case my mother had to lose it before she would spank and so that created all sorts of extra issues. And, the rarity of the need. All this suggests you and your husband are doing a great job.
