Graduation day will be when I feel they show the proper respect for those around them and are making mature judgements in their comings and goings.

The last time I remember seeing the hairbrush on the counter was when I was 19 I think and came home from college for a vacation and the dreaded hairbrush occupied the same place on the kitchen counter that meant it had been dusted off. Mom told me that youngest sis than 15 had gotten an automatic for lying. Was kind of an erie homecoming. It had an immediate effect on me though as I minded my p's and q's for a bit.
